With more then 30 years of food-industry experience under his belt, Gordon Cove certainly feels comfortable as President and CEO of ALMA. Prior to coming to the agency, Gordon was the branch head for Livestock Products for Alberta Agriculture and Rural Development. Before coming to the Alberta Government in 2003, Gordon had spent 21 years at Fletcher's Fine Foods, now Olymel, as General Manager in Red Deer. Gordon says that what he enjoys most about working at ALMA is looking at the multitude of answers the agency has to address all the challenges it's facing. He truly believes that ALMA has the means to make a difference in the livestock and meat industry.
